About Jon

Jon believes that the role of elected officials is to provide“Responsive and Responsible Representation”. He feels that elected officials serve the interests
of all people in their district, not simply the interests of a selected few. The opportunities and challenges facing Howard County and Maryland require a delegate who has the ability and credibility to work with elected representatives
in the county and state assembly. Jon’s years of experience as a consultant,
facilitator, and business owner working to improve state, local, and federal government organizations makes him uniquely qualified to serve in Annapolis.
Jon will listen carefully to the needs of our community and will work closely with other state and county officials to benefit our district.

As an elected public servant, Jon will…

  • Apply his experience and expertise to improve the efficiency and accountability of the our government
  • Work tirelessly to make sure education remains a priority for our county and state
  • Promote Maryland as the focal point for investment and advancement of emerging industries and research in the areas of biotechnology, cyber-security, and renewable energy
  • Propose programs that support small businesses and strengthen our economy
  • Promote policies and programs that support Maryland’s combat soldiers and veterans

Informed and involved citizens drive this community. The unity of purpose
shared among neighbors and friends is the reason that our county has flourished. Jon seeks the honor of being the voice for the important issues for our community.
